Chanonry Point

It was a rather chilly February afternoon when we decided to go Dolphin spotting at Chanonry Point, unfortunately the dolphins had possibly decided it was too cold for them to show off on that day.

After a walk round The  Fairy Glen nearby, we returned to the see if the dolphins were now going to co-operate, however we were out of luck. The wee bit of disappointment was soon gone with the amazing Sunset, and the beautiful pink skies.

Chanonry Point is a spit of land extending into the Moray Firth between Fortrose and Rosemarkie on the Black Isle, not far from Inverness.
