The Journey West

Loch a’ Chroisg is a place that many of you I’m sure are familiar with on the road west via Achnasheen. The layby provides a welcome rest from driving and a hint of the landscape to come on your journey.

The Loch itself provides fishing for those interested in Coarse fishing with Pike and Perch to be caught at the end of your line. Fishing from the bank is permitted only but you don’t require a permit to do so.

The Cromalt hills are only a few kilometres from the Loch, and if not climbing, the Marilyn, Meall a’ Fhurain, it  will certainly be  seen  from the Loch. this area is most definitely a hillwalkers paradise.
